ISO 9001 is the quality management system standard of reference enabling entities and organisations to demonstrate their ability to deliver products and services that meet and exceed contractual and/or regulatory requirements. A quality management system is based on quality management principles, which are incorporated within the requirements of the standard, and can be applied to continually improve organizational performance and customer focus.
As the recognised international quality standard, ISO 9001 provides a structured yet flexible framework for a customer-focused business management system that will drive business performance, and that can be applied to any type and size of organization regardless of products produced and delivered.
As from inception, Miroglio Textile is committed to using technologies that have the lightest possible impact on the environment and products (dyes and chemicals) not containing harmful substances for man or for the environment. As an instrument for demonstrating to all customers its commitment to protecting the environment and avoiding the use of certain chemicals and dyes, Miroglio Textile assures that all of its products conform with the international guidelines and specifications of Oeko-Tex, an international testing and certification authority in the field of textile ecology. The Oeko-Tex certificate is issued for a period of one year and can be extended subject to further testing for compliance with severe ecological requirements. In order to ensure ongoing compliance with the test criteria, the authorized Oeko-Tex institutes carry out control tests every year on all components of our textile.
The AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) is a voluntary certification issued by the Customs Agency, after appropriate investigation and audit of accreditation. The certification program applies to the traders and their trading partners involved in the international supply chain by taking part in activities covered by customs and qualify a positive comparison with others, as deemed reliable and secure in the supply chain.
Obtaining AEO FULL – Customs Simplifications and Security – allows Miroglio Textile to ensure:
improved relations with customs authorities, increased speed in shipments, better communication between the parties in the supply chain, decrease in security issues.
In accordance with the general principles of high environmental standards, the Miroglio Spinning Mills are committed to minimising any impact on the environment, inserting therein certain products using polymer from recycled PET materials (such as, for example, plastic bottles and Tetra Pack).
These are certified by IIP (Italian Institute for Plastics), under “Plastica Seconda Vita (Second Life Plastic)”conformity-tested label.
Encompassed within the range of Miroglio products are certain textured PES items used in medical applications. As from April 2009, these are tested and certified by CSI S.p.A.
